  • paid Animal Control and Animal Shelter personnel are in place

  • citizen awareness of the need for control and animal care has been raised

  • efforts have been made to educate local children with humane education classes through Animal Protection of New Mexico

  • APAS members have assisted in the transport of hundreds of homeless pets from the Socorro shelter to rescue organizations in our region

  • the annual APAS Yard Sale and Silent Auction continues to raise awareness and funds for APAS activities
